CRYSTAL

How do you engrave on the crystals?
We use a two-step process called "reverse deep etching."  (Other trophy-makers just engrave once on the front with lasers.)  First, we affix a special film onto the back of the crystal that we laser cut to serve as a stencil.  Then we sand-blast the crystal to an etch depth of .02" to .05."  The result? More reflective highlights (due to the sand-blasting) and greater depth and dimension (because you view the design through the body of the crystal.) 


What kind of crystal do you use?
We offer Solid Optical Crystal, which provides the ultimate in clarity and brilliance.  Optical Crystal is 100% lead-free, heavy, and extremely hard.  The crystals are highly polished. You can see how our blank crystal wedge, shown at left, reflects its own edges under bright light. 


Do you design custom awards?
Yes, we welcome the opportunity to design custom awards. Please see your promotional products consultant for information on developing a custom award. If you do not have a distributor, please contact us and we will be happy to recommend a promotional products consultant in your area.
 


MARBLE

My marble has lines and marks in it.  Is there something wrong with it?
No. We use genuine marble for its natural beauty and weight.  Any lines, blemishes, nicks, or variations in color are part of the marble and do not affect its strength or beauty.  Marble trophies may not be returned for these natural variations.

We love our non profits! As a matter of fact 75% of our customers fit into the above category.

All our prices are discounted to the lowest price possible regardless of quantity ordered.

If your order totals over $2,000 we will look for additional savings/discounts

How do I place an order?
We  accept orders through our website, by email or by fax.

Is there a minimum order?

What is considered normal production time?
Normal production time is 3-5 working days. Rush charges are incurred when ship date is five or less working days from receipt of order.  Minimum rush charge is $35.00 or 20%, whichever is greater.

 


ART

Do I have to specify font, size, and layout?

No -- our talented art department will choose the right font, size and layout for your particular trophy.  We use fonts that engrave well and will make sure that the wording on your trophy is clear and legible.


How do I know my art can be used in production?

"Production-ready art" is art which will provide the level of imprint quality that meets BestBuyTrophy's standards of excellence. Not all digital art will meet this criteria and specifications for production ready art.  Our art department will notify you of any art charges that will be incurred prior to production.

 

How is my order shipped?

Our standard shipping method is UPS. To change the shipping method, indicate your preference in the comment box on your purchase order. If your order is shipped using your shipper number, you are responsible for filing all claims. Orders shipped by USPS are not guaranteed delivery & shipments are at your own risk.

F.O.B. California.  All shipments are via UPS or motor freight depending on weight and destination.  To assure safe delivery UPS shipments require over packing. An "over packing" charge of $5.00 per carton will be added to the freight charge.
